In the past, the Housing & Community Development program at GSCDC has made a significant impact on our community. As a premier, affordable housing non-profit developer in Jersey City with over two decades of experience, our mission has been to provide quality affordable housing opportunities to families facing difficulties in affording private market rentals or purchases.
Through the dedicated efforts of the Division of Housing and Community Development, we have achieved remarkable outcomes. We transformed over 90 abandoned properties into more than 240 quality residential units. This investment of $40 million in emerging markets has provided homes for over 630 people who were in need.
