Rest is a Right the Elderly Deserve
As the year comes to a close, we are asking you to join us in giving the greatest gift of all – rest. Our seniors, many of whom have spent a lifetime contributing to our communities, now face the unimaginable burden of homelessness. Every person deserves the dignity of a safe place to sleep, and for our elderly neighbors, this need is even more urgent.
Hope Begins With Help
At the Division of Supportive Housing and Social Services, we provide essential support to the most vulnerable people in Hudson County. We offer safe housing, personalized case management, and access to basic needs like food and clothing. Our goal is to help individuals and families find stability and build a brighter future.

- Staying on the Street or in any place not fit for human habitation, such as a park, alley, car, storage unit, tent city, etc.
- Staying in a Homeless Shelter
Staying temporarily in a motel paid by a government agency or non-profit organization - Fleeing a documented Domestic Violence situation
